An October Poem: In The Trees

In the trees
With the subtle breeze,
Maple and sycamore
Waterfall.

In the trees
With the mild breeze,
Gray and cream scarves
Flutter like silken snow owls.

In the trees
With the shivered breeze,
Chestnut squirrels
Pluck their tails.

In the trees
With the billowed breeze,
Orange harmonies
And yellow melodies
Chime as the sun drifts
In then
Out.

In the trees
With the blizzard breeze,
The lapis sky
Lapped at East
And folded at
West.

In the trees
With the thunderstorm breeze,
Where birdhouses sway
Branches bow
And birdbaths freeze.

In the trees
With the breeze.
