Winter Eyes: A Poem

Bands, braids, and belts
Fidget and prance
Radiate and gleam
In shimmering sheets
Of atmospheric flickers.

Like that crystalline
Glisten in your eye.

Swaths of sky
Hover brightly
In the thousand nights
Of winter,
Behind a blizzard moon
Shining metallically.

Violet feathers
Green trembles,
Twinkling in ribbons.

A decorative luminance
Like that glisten in your eye.

Wintertide plunges,
Spurts from
Alaska and Antarctica seams.

Snow capped
Mountaintops
Applaud in
Flurried angels.

Embellished
Like that glisten in your eye.
