Peeled away
Like an iridescent
Theatre curtain.
Amorphous pieces
Swaying to the side,
Gliding to the East,
Sliding to the Atlantic.
Overcast observed
Before drifting overhead.
Silently slithering,
Skimming like a toboggan,
Floating to an untouchable horizon.
