As dark as caves,
But schizophrenic lights
Still flash.
The night
As dark as ocean pits,
But your voice lathers
Over the pink of my brain
And I wonder what it means.
The night
As dark as the underbelly of eyelids,
But my eyes feel frozen.
The night
As dark as a starless galaxy.
But the size
Of my heart
Could never
Retreat.
