Light Pollution: A Poem

An arch of sun
Overhangs from the horizon,
Soon it will leave me too.

The streetlamps
No longer sulk
And headlights
Flicker.

Digital screens,
Colorful signs
Continue to dance.

The light pollution
Soothes me,
But burns the eyes
Of stargazers,
Planet chasers.

The perspective of
Beauty.
