Freedom: A Poem

I first learned of
Gravity
When I lost grip
Of a balloon.

The balloon and I
Becoming smaller and smaller
To each other.

When it greeted the sky
I knew there was no return.

Only later I realized
About letting go of all the things
I once appreciated fiercely.

The cruelness of freedom.
